True Stories
I have something to say about David Byrne in those days, or at least the character of "David Byrne" in those days: I like the way he talks. It is so forthright and simple. I'd like to adopt it. I hope it can be learned.
Summer's Coming
I look forward to going out bare-legged at night.
I Have Something To Say About Friendship
There are Friend Friends and there are Good Time Friends and I've never been much good at being a Good Time Friend and that gets me down sometimes.
Film I Am Anticipating
And Everything Is Going Fine, the film about Spalding Gray.
A Word I Learned From Frank O'Hara
Profligate: 1: completely given up to dissipation and licentiousness 2: wildly extravagant

Or religious as if I were French?
Hell

So What?
Jeanne Dielman was my introduction to a new, slower sort of movie watching, and then there was James Benning, and tomorrow there is Sharon Lockhart. It is nice to sit in a dark room and pay attention.
